An Overview of Catalytic Carbonylative Double Cyclization Reactions

چکیده

This short review is aimed at giving an overview of catalytic carbonylative double cyclization reactions, which are processes in suitable organic substrates and carbon monoxide sequentially activated by a promoting catalyst to form two new cycles with the concomitant incorporation as carbonyl function final product. Paradigmatic examples this powerful synthetic methodology, allows one-step synthesis complex molecular architectures from simple building blocks using simplest readily available C-1 unit (CO), illustrated discussed. The divided into five sections: (1) Introduction, (2) Functionalized Olefinic Substrates, (3) Acetylenic (4) Halides, (5) Conclusions Future Perspectives.
